Conwy Pirates CIC organises the renowned Conwy Pirate Festival, an annual celebration of the town's historical and maritime legacy. This fun family event attracts re-enactors and enthusiasts from around the world, growing in popularity each year.

 

The event revolves around our legendary pirate battle when the pirates enter the harbour aboard their ship Vilma with cannons blazing. They meet a vigorous rebuttal from the guns of the medieval castle and militia on the quayside and town walls.

 

They have a variety of pirate themed games to entertain kids of all ages. Complete all the games and obtain a certificate of competency in piracy. (Letter of Marque)

In addition we have themed stalls in the smugglers market selling pirate themed articles.

 

Throughout the day we have music acts on stage and on the quay

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
