Immerse yourself in the award-winning 360-degree cinematic Big Picture Show.
Using surround sound, projected digital moving images and photographs, the Big Picture Show brings a broad range of perspectives into poignant focus, reflecting not only on the immediate effects of war, but also on what happens when the guns stop firing.
Spies, Lies and Deception is a free, family-friendly exhibition at IWM North about deception and espionage from the First World War to the present day.
Young recruits can visit the Mission Room to embark on a top-secret exhibition trail, piecing together information to find out if they have what it takes to succeed in the world of spies.

On permanent display at IWM North, the installation is one of many artworks at IWM North created in response to war and conflict.
At IWM North explore the conflicts that Britain and the Commonwealth have been involved in since the First World War to the current day through a timeline of objects that have borne witness to historic events.
Housed in an iconic aluminium-clad building, representing a globe shattered by conflict, IWM North is the first museum in the UK to be designed by internationally acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind. Libeskind created the building to enhance the museums subject matter. The sharp angles, sloping floors, leaning walls and imposing exterior are deliberately in place to unsettle and disorient you, intensifying the collections and stories within.
