Enjoy a 5 day holiday to Aberfoyle staying at The Rob Roy Hotel
11th 15th May
Aberfoyle is a village in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park in Scotland, known as the "gateway to the Trossachs" for its proximity to the park and outdoor activities. It is a popular holiday destination with Victorian architecture, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The village is situated on the River Forth and surrounded by mountains.
Whilst on tour, the following program includes;
Edinburgh
As Scotlands Capital needs little introduction, explore the castle, the Royal Mile, or perhaps a spot of retail therapy on Princes Street. Take a open-top bus to give you an overview of all the sights or maybe take the tram to Leith where you can visit the former Royal Yacht Britannia.
Loch Katrine
Surrounded by hills and forests within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Loch Katrine is a beautiful, elongated lake in Scotland's Trossachs region, known for its striking scenery, historical ties to the outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor and Sir Walter Scott's poem
Falkirk
Falkirk is a town and administrative center in the Central Belt of Scotland, historically important as a center for the Industrial Revolution and the iron industry and now known for the innovative Falkirk Wheel canal boat lift and the iconic Kelpies horse-head sculptures.
The Rob Roy Hotel is wonderfully situated in idyllic countryside at the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and is set within Scotlands first National Park. Named after the legendary local folk hero Rob Roy McGregor, Rob Roy offers excellent food friendly staff, and good old-fashioned value for money.
The Hotel is a short stroll along the banks of the Forth River to the picturesque village of Aberfoyle where you will find Scottish made Arts, Crafts and Clothing, and 3 Visitor Centres. The splendours of Loch Katrine, Callender, Historic Stirling and Loch Lomond are all within easy striking distance, and the hotel is an ideal centre for touring the Trossachs, Perthshire and the Highlands
A Lounge menu offering freshly produced local food is available throughout the day in the Thistle Bar, and the Tartan Room is an excellent spot for lunch or an evening meal.
Each of the 103 bedrooms features everything you need to ensure a comfortable well-rested stay. Fresh decor, well-appointed ensuite bathrooms, bedrooms equipped with flat screen televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and wi-fi is all part of the experience.
