Cardiff (Day 2)

After a sumptuous Welsh Breakfast, take the short 5-minute stroll from the hotel to Cardiff Castle & House. Arranged is entry to Cardiff Castle, one of Wales’s leading heritage attractions and a site of international significance. The castle's enchanting fairytale towers conceal an elaborate and splendid interior. The Castle's Romanesque walls and fairytale towers conceal 2,000 years of history. The castle is in the heart of the city. Afterwards time free to explore the capital with its fine shopping malls and catteries. After lunch your coach will be waiting at the hotel to take you through the city to Cardiff Bay to board a 45-minute cruise out into picturesque Cardiff Bay, with a stop at Penarth Barrage to enjoy the stunning views of the bay. With commentary, see some of Cardiff's most iconic landmarks and attractions, including the Wales Millennium Centre, the Senedd, and Mermaid Quay.

Welsh Valleys & The Royal Mint (Day 3)

After another hearty Welsh Breakfast, board your coach for a leisurely day out in the Welsh Valleys. Entry into one of Wales's best reviewed and most visited attraction The Royal Mint which is located near Llantrisant only 14 miles from the hotel. It is the only place in the world where you can watch the United Kingdom's coins being made. Go behind the scenes to follow the journey of a coin from a blank to a bank in the pe-arranged Guided Factory Tour. Experience the sights and sounds of thousands of glistening new coins, hot off the presses, and get the chance to strike your very own coin. Afterwards the tour swings by to nearby Caerphilly, a modern and charming market town dominated by its massive 12th century castle. Venture the 10 miles back to Cardiff with the remainder of the day free to explore.

Angel Hotel ***
