Chester

 

• Chester is an ancient, well-preserved city in Cheshire, England, known for its unique blend of Roman and medieval history, featuring the most complete Roman city walls in Britain, the distinctive two-tiered "Rows" galleries for shopping, and a Roman amphitheatre. Situated on the River Dee near the Welsh border, Chester offers a vibrant atmosphere with a mix of historical sites, modern amenities like restaurants and shops, and a renowned zoo.

 

Llangollen

 

• Llangollen is a picturesque small town in North Wales, situated on the River Dee within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a popular tourist destination known for its stunning riverside and valley scenery, its 16th-century bridge, and the Castell Dinas Bran ruins overlooking the town. Llangollen also offers attractions like the Llangollen Canal and the Llangollen Railway, has a rich history of industry.
