Knaresborough is full of surprises, a warren of medieval streets and stone staircases that weave their way up and down the hill.  The town centre is perched on the cliffs above the River Nidd and the imposing railway viaduct across the Nidd Gorge offers an amazing view to visitors as they arrive by train.  The market place in the centre of the town offers a great place to enjoy a cup of tea or something delicious and home baked.  On a Wednesday stalls fill the market place offering tasty produce, whole foods, plants and flowers, as well pretty much anything else you can imagine, in the ever popular Knaresborough Market.

Your visit can be as active or as indulgent as you like when you explore things to do in Harrogate. For the more metropolitan, the reputation of the shopping streets for exquisite retail opportunities is well deserved. Yorkshire prides itself on its food and drink, and Harrogate District flies this flag with pride, from there own gin, to the delicious local produce available across the towns.  As well as familiar names you will find independent restaurants offering carefully prepared ingredients served to please the eye as well as the appetite.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities.
